Measures of Health
The Question
How do we ignite behavioral and lifestyle changes that will improve our nations health?
Problem
United Health releases these metrics every year based on census data and other pertinent surveys. The information is wildly complicated and difficult to understand. Further, it's hard to know what there is to do about it.
Solutions
- Organize 48 measures across 50 states in an engaging and interactive way. Specifically through state and metric specific comparisons.
- Make it easy to share, learn, and discuss data that matters.
- Provide tools and resources to get involved with state & federal initiatives and foster community.
Sitemap + Information Architecture
The primary exercise was to organize the data in a discoverable way while also providing resources to "Take Action" and learn more about the factors associated with the rankings.
